• Contact Data: Email address.
• Profile Data: Your gardening tips, plant library, and layout designs.
• Financial Data: We use a third-party Merchant of Record. We do not store your credit card details on our servers; they are processed securely by our provider.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and usage patterns.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provide the SowGentle service (the "Contract").
• Display your "Planting Tips" to the community (linked to your chosen username).
• Send marketing communications (where you have opted in).

4. Legal Basis (GDPR/UK GDPR)

• Performance of a Contract: To give you access to your garden data.
• Consent: For marketing emails and community posts.
• Legitimate Interest: To improve our AI-driven planting suggestions.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We share data only with essential service providers:

• Authentication: Supabase Auth.
• Database: Supabase (hosted in the UK/EU).
• Payments: Lemon Squeezy or Paddle.
• AI Services: Google Gemini (data is sent to process AI Add requests but not used to train global models).

6. International Transfers

As an UK-based project using global infrastructure (like Google Cloud), your data may be processed in the US. We ensure "Standard Contractual Clauses" (SCCs) are in place to protect your data to EU/UK standards.

7. Your Rights (UK, EU & US)

Depending on your location, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your data.
• Deletion: Request we delete your account ("Right to be Forgotten").
• Opt-out: US users (CCPA) and UK/EU users can opt-out of marketing at any time via the App Settings.
